Frequently Asked Questions

How can I sign my child up for camp or classes?

Registration is easy and can be completed online through our platform here. Since spots fill up quickly, we recommend signing up early to secure your child’s place.

What age group is the camp for?

Park Heroes is designed for children ages 3–10. We offer age-based programs that match each group’s needs, interests, and skill levels. We do our best to keep kids within their appropriate age group to ensure a safe and fun experience.

What sports are offered at camp?

Our camp includes a wide range of sports such as soccer, tennis, baseball, and more. Each activity is designed to build teamwork, athletic skills, and leadership—all while having fun and staying active.

Are the coaches trained and certified?

Yes! All of our coaches are experienced, CPR and First Aid certified, and have passed background checks. They are trained in safety protocols to keep your child safe and supported throughout the day.

Is there a medical professional at camp?

Yes, a certified EMT is on-site during camp hours to handle any medical needs or emergencies. They can also assist with things like medications and minor injuries.

What happens if it rains or there’s bad weather?

If there’s rain or unsafe weather, we’ll move camp to an indoor location nearby. Parents will be notified by 8:00 AM with the address and plan for the day. If indoor space is unavailable and we must cancel, we’ll offer credit for a future camp day. For full details, please see our policies page.

How do payment plans work?

We offer flexible payment plans to help make camp more affordable. You can choose to pay bi-weekly or monthly. Full information is available on our policies page.

What if my child needs to use the restroom?

Our camp is just a 2-minute walk from public restrooms at Le Pain Café. A gender-appropriate coach will walk your child—usually with a group and another coach—and assist them if needed. Please make sure your child is fully potty-trained before camp.

Do you provide lunch or snacks?

We do not provide lunch. Full-day campers should bring their own lunch. We offer a small, healthy snack during the day, and half-day campers will also have a snack break. You’re welcome to send extra nut-free snacks and drinks. We will do an ice cream break in the afternoon for PM Half Day and Full Day campers. Please pack $5 for your child to purchase ice cream if you’d like.

What should my child bring to camp?

Please send your child with a water bottle, extra nut-free snacks, sunscreen, athletic shoes, sportswear, a full change of clothes (just in case), and a packed lunch if they’re staying for the full day all in a backpack they can carry. We recommend labeling everything to avoid lost items.

Can I visit my child during the day?

For safety and to help kids stay focused, we ask parents not to visit during camp hours. If you have questions or need to speak with someone, feel free to contact us and we’ll be happy to help.
